U18 Tournament a Big Success
After a year of Covid hiatus the Wingham Regional U18 Silver Stick tournament returned. This year the size was reduced to 8 teams in each of the B and C divisions and utilized 1 arena instead of 2.
Each division had 2 groups of 4 playing a 3 game round robin. The semi finals and finals were played on Nov. 14 with Mitchell defeating Tavistock 5-2 in "B" and South Bruce over Huron Bruce 1-0. Both winners will advance to the International Silver Stick finals in Forest in January. Congratulations to the advancing teams and thanks to all teams for their participation. It was great to have the tournament back!!!
