BOB MERKLEY MEMORIAL REGIONAL SILVER STICK U9 JAMBOREE 2023
This is your invitation to attend the Annual Bob Merkley Memorial Regional Silver Stick Jamboree in Midland, Ontario. It is sponsored by the Midland Minor Hockey Association.
Silver Stick works under a Regional concept. Midland has the privilege of hosting a Regional Jamboree for U9 “A” teams and below within Central Region.
Our date this year for the U9 Jamboree will be Saturday, December 9th, 2023
The Jamboree will begin play at 9:00 AM. Each team will play (5) five 30 min. games over the course of the day with play scheduled to end by 6:20 PM. All participants will receive a Tournament hat.
All games will be played at the North Simcoe Sports & Recreation Centre, 527 Len Self Blvd, Midland. This facility has 2 regulation ice surfaces the M.M.H.A. rink and Centennial rink. All Jamboree games will be played on the Centennial rink
The entry fee will be $860.00 per team. There is no admission fee for spectators at any time throughout the Jamboree.
To enter our Jamboree please go to the Silver Stick website at www.silverstick.org then click on Canadian Regionals, then on Central Region. Then chose the Midland Regional tab once there select the register tab at the top of the page and follow the prompts.
Refund policy: If you withdraw from the Jamboree after being accepted, there will be an administration fee of $75.00 deducted from your entry fee up until November 15th. Any time after November 15th, no refund will be given.
Any team having to withdraw from the Jamboree due to Covid 19 and has provided documentation to substantiate the withdrawal will be given a full refund. As well, if for any reason the Jamboree is unable to run a full refund will be provided to any team registered in the Jamboree
