Any player or team official who is assessed a fighting, match or gross misconduct penalty will be suspended for the remainder of the tournament

3.     Any player, coach, manager or trainer found to be abusive toward any player, tournament official or volunteer will be expelled from further tournament participation. 4.     All coaches/team managers must sign in with the tournament director before the start of their first game. Coaches/team manager must ensure that the tournament director has the most current official roster leading up to the start of the tournament. Only players listed on the official tournament roster submitted will be allowed to participate in the tournament. No names/players can be added after the start of the first game.

5.     Teams must report to the dressing room prior to the scheduled game time. All teams are required to be prepared to play up to 15 minutes in advance of scheduled game times if tournament conditions permit. Teams unable to make the scheduled starting time shall forfeit the game.

6.     Round robin, semi final and final games will all be stop time. No overtime or time-outs in round robin games. One 30-second time out per team will be allowed in semi final and final games.

a.     Mercy rule will apply for a 5 goal differential moving the game to straight time in the 3rd period until the end of the game or the differential drops below 5 again.

7.     Round robin games will be played for points as follows: 2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss. The top two teams from each pool will move on to the semi-final round. There will be no overtime played in round robin games.

a.     In the event of a tie in points at the conclusion of round robin play, the following sequential procedure will be used to break the tie:

                                                    i.     Head to Head

ii.     % GF (Goals for/goals against plus goals for (GF/(GF+GA))

                                                 iii.     Least Penalty minutes

                                                 iv.     Flip a coin

8.     Overtime in semi-final and championship games will consist of a 5 minute sudden victory period with 3 skaters and 1 goalie. Play will continue in this manner until a goal is scored.

a.     If a team is penalized in overtime, the favoured side gains a skater (ie 4 on 3). At the conclusion of the penalty, the penalized player will return to the ice and play 4 on 4 until play stoppage, at which time teams will then return to playing 3 on 3.

b.     Teams may pull their goalie during sudden victory periods.

c.     Home ice for all final games will be determined by the team that has the most points. In the event of a tie, the tie breaker procedure will be used.

9.      All referee calls are final

10. The tournament director reserves the right to make all decisions regarding tournament rules, regulations or protests. All protests must be submitted in writing to the Tournament Director for a ruling. All committee decisions on disputes will be final.
