EXCITING ROUND ROBIN FINISHES AND SEMIS
Day two of the round robin portion was no less exciting than day one.
After opening day action every team still had a shot at the play offs and no one let any game go uncontested.
In the Under 11 Elmvale waited until late in the final game to get the winner against Collingwood. The win put them in the final where they will face Collingwood again as the Jr. Blues beat Oro in the semi final. Oro took the last spot with some help from Brock who edged Listowel 1-0 in the final round robin game to decide the final standings.
in Under 13 Collingwood booked their spot in the final with a perfect round robin then a semi final win over Listowel. The rest of the division scrapped until the end to book their play off spots. Mariposa earned their way in with a division win but fell in the semi to Penetang after tying them in the Round Robin. Listowel won its final game to edge out St Mary's on point differential.
In Under 15 the St Mary's Rock used three wins and a tie to win the round robin and advance to Sundays final, the rest of the teams followed the trend of leaving things until the last minute. Centre Wellington rallied from an 0 and 2 start Friday to tie Dorchester Saturday morning then beat Collingwood in the final minute Saturday afternoon and advance to the semi final against Dorchester. The Dragons used a strong third period to beat Centre Wellington and advance to the finals.
