This is Tournament Week !
The Niagara Regional LL/HL Silver Stick Tournament starts on Friday morning!
Best of luck to all teams competing in this event.
Each team has been sent an advanced copy of the Tournament Rules through email which detail things like period lengths, overtime provisions and tie breaker regulations.
As a reminder:
- The team who is the Champion at each age group will receive an invite to participate in the Silver Stick International Tournament in January 2019.
- Each team will be playing four games at a minimum during this tournament.
- Teams will have two games on Friday (except in Atom division).
- Game are being played at the Meridian Community Centre in Pelham, and at the Welland Main Arena in Welland. These two facilities are about a 10 minute drive from each other.
- Games may start slightly ahead of schedule so please make sure your team is at the rink in advance of the puck drop time.
Teams must check in with the Tournament Convenor located at either site prior to their first game to received their welcome package and to quickly review Travel Permits and Team Rosters - any team with a roster that has changed since submission must bring a copy of their new updated roster to the Tournament Convenor prior to stepping on to the ice for the first game.
