Visit the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto and see the original Silver Stick on display!
Named after the Ottawa Silver Seven team of the early 1900s, the Silver Stick was created by Jack Kinsella in 1957. The International Silver Stick Association has been honoured by having the original Silver Stick used for the opening ceremonies in 1958 displayed in the Hockey Hall of Fame since 1982, thanks to the efforts of, Silver Stick Honorary Life Member Mr. Bill Williams and the late Silver Stick Honorary Life Member, Mr. Bill Glover.
Each year, after the International Silver Stick Finals, a plaque is placed in the Hockey Hall of Fame’s Silver Stick display listing the team names of all the new champions. Team names have been updated for the 2023-2024 Tournament Season.
Due to limited space, only team names are listed on the plaque (not individual players and staff).
The Hall of Fame is located at 30 Yonge Street, Brookfield Place, Toronto, Ontario.
