The 2023 Gloria Rints Memorial International Silver Stick Tournament has partnered with Hudson Travel Group (HTG) to provide attendees with the hotel accommodations Hotels have been carefully selected to ensure quality.

Teams are "required" to select a hotel from our list which was a condition agreed to by accepting the invitation.
For teams staying in Markham Hotels and Richmond Hill hotels on the list below, every effort will be made so they will not play in the first games scheduled for Friday or Saturday morning due to the distance to the arenas.

All teams enter the Tournament with the hope of making the playoffs, but if it doesn't happen, and you don't want to stay the Saturday night, you should be prepared to accept the policy of the hotel.

Please try to be accurate in the number of rooms needed for your team. Twenty is a nice round number but blocking twenty and using only 15 could prevent another team wanting to stay at the hotel but not enough rooms were available. If and when you realize you don't need the rooms blocked, contact Cathy and have it reduced.

The following is a quick reference chart that lists the Hotels along with the mileage to Iroquois 6 pad arena,
rates,and if they have a pool or breakfast included. Hotels that don't offer breakfast have a restaurant on site
except for Motel 6 Whitby.
The distance from Iroquois arena to the others is: Canlan Ice Sports Oshawa 4 mi. to east, McKinney Centre
Whitby -4miles to north, , Luther Vipond Arena (LVA) 7 miles to north.

Early Departure Charge
It is extremely important that you understand the Stay Requirements and Early Departure policy of the hotel when you
book your rooms, especially those where early departure is not allowed and where you will have to pay for room nights
booked after the cut-off date even if you check out early due to not advancing to the playoffs. You should also be aware
of the hotels that have Early Departure charge if you check out early and the check-out time.
