Northumberland Regional, Eastern Region, 2021-2022, Canadian Regionals (International Silver Stick)

It was a very special night at the kick-off at the Northumberland Regional Silver Stick tournament this weekend.  With the assistance of the Northumberland Minor Hockey Association, the Northumberland Regional Silver Stick honoured the memory of a player tragically lost too soon, Cormac Kerin - #17. The captains of both teams, Kanata Blazers and Northumberland Nighthawks U11A, along with the Kerin family,  were called to center ice for the ceremonial face off. ATTENTION HOCKEY FANS! The Belleville Senators, farm team for the Ottawa Senators, will be playing home games over the course of the Northumberland Silver Stick tournament.  Game days include: November 27 v Laval Rocket (farm team for the Montreal Canadians) December 4 v Manitoba Moose (Winnipeg Jets farm team) December 5 v Manitoba Moose (Winnipeg Jets farm team) All interested parties please contact Alex Siragusa at:  [email protected]

Please be aware of the OMHA Covid-19 Policy regarding Return to Play and Covid-19. As many of you are aware, the OMHA (our governing body) has stated that all participants wishing to play hockey 12 years of age and older, including bench staff, must be fully vaccinated. The OMHA Covid-19 Vaccination Policy will not be applied to any non-OMHA entering into an OMHA sanctioned tournament.  HOWEVER -  ALL TEAMS ATTENDING THE FACILITIES WHERE THE TOURNAMENT IS TAKING PLACE WILL NEED TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR ATTENDANCE AS MANDATED BY THE LOCAL PUBLIC HEALTH UNIT, MUNICIPALITY AND/OR ...
