Wingham Regional, South Western Region, 2022-2023, Canadian Regionals (International Silver Stick)

The Wingham Regional U11 Silverstick concluded Dec. 4 with Kincardine winning the B division and Drayton taking the C title.  Kincardine defeated Mid Huron by a 6-1 score, although the score was tight until midway through the 3rd period.  Drayton defeated Minto 2-1.  Congratulations to both teams and good luck at the Internationals.

The 2022 U18 tournament wrapped up with both the B & C championship games ending in 2-1 scores.  In the B final Kincardine defeated Listowel, while in C, Walkerton downed South Grey.  Walkerton had previously prevailed over Hanover 1-0 in a triple overtime semi while Kincardine had won over St Marys also by a 1-0 score.  Congratulations to both winners and good luck in the rest of the season.

The U18 Wingham Regional Silver Stick tournament running from Nov. 13 through to Nov. 20 is now full.  The U11 tournament will run from Nov. 27 through Dec. 4.  The online registration form will be available shortly.  As per the OMHA, there will be no gate fees charged to spectators.  Click the REGISTRATION tab on the menu bar to access the registration forms.
