NOTICE TO ARENA CAPTAINS

SKATER’S EDGE SOURCE FOR SPORTS
GOALIE AWARDS
In order for these awards to be given out extra information will be needed and must be captured on our game sheets.
We will need to know what goalie(s) received a shut out during round robin play. (Have time keepers circle the game goalie)
Each of these goalies will be entered into a draw for a prize as listed below:
Atom: 50.00 gift certificate
Peewee: 50.00 gift certificate
Bantam: 50.00 gift certificate
Midget: 50.00 gift certificate
This draw will be done at the countryside arena shortly after round robin play. An attempt will be made to contact the player and have it picked up at countryside arena.
Each Winning Goalie of the Silver Stick Championship game for all divisions will receive a gift certificate from Skater’s Edge valued at $25.00.
These certificates will be given to each arena captain at our meeting at the Caruso Club.
AGAIN this year, each arena will be given a ballot box with ballots, instead of sending the shut out info into countryside, you will complete the ballot and put it into the box for all shut outs in all divisions. At the end of the round robin play these boxes will be brought to countryside arena where all the ballots will be sorted and then have a draw done for each division.
Each ballot will contain the following information:(see sample on box)
Goalies Name, Division, Team Name
NOTE: SKATER'S EDGE IS PROVIDING ALL PARITICPANTS WITH AN IN STORE DISCOUNT ON EQUIPMENT AND APPAREL DURING THE TOURNAMENT. SO SPREAD THE WORD!!!!
GAME MVP AWARDS
As in the past years we supply 2 mvp awards per game, this year they are towels.
For all games played each team will select their game MVP and advise the timekeeper around the middle of the 3rd period of their choice. A short presentation will be completed at the end of the game by the game officials.
NEW THIS YEAR
THERE WILL BE NO TOURNAMENT PLAYER MVP AWARDS GIVEN OUT TO EACH DIVISION.
