Rules and Format:
1. Only approved Roster sheets will be accepted.
2. Only 19 players per team are allowed to dress for the game (17 skaters and 2 goalies).
3. Periods:
1st 10 minutes stop time
2nd - 10 minutes stop time
3rd - 15 minutes stop time
4. Sudden Death Overtime will be played as such: 20- minute periods 3-on-3 until a goal is scored. If a team is penalized in overtime, or carries a penalty or penalties into overtime, the opposing team will add a player or players.
The penalized player will return to the ice at the end of the penalty, and play will return to 3-on-3 at the stoppage of play.
***Only Championship Games will have unlimited overtime periods at full strength. Regular penalties apply.
5. The ice surface will be resurfaced every other regular period.
6. All suspensions and ejections will follow OMHA guidelines.
7. In the event of similar uniforms, the home team must change sweaters and wear those supplied by the Silver Stick committee.
8. Exception to #6 above, any player assessed either a gross misconduct or a five-minutes major for fighting will not be allowed to play int he remainder of the tournament.
9. Be prepared to be on the ice 20 minutes before your scheduled start time.
10. All disputes will be considered by the tournament committee. Their decision will be final.

Seeding Criteria
1. Points, based on Win-3 pts, Overtime Win-2 pts, Overtime Loss-1 pts, Loss-0 pts.
2. If tied, goals for - goals against/goals for.
3. If tied, fewest goals against.
4. If tied, most goals for.
5. If tied, fewer penalty minutes.
6. Coin Toss.

13. One timeout allowed in the finals. One per team in championship game only.
