WINGHAM REGIONAL SILVER STICK TOURNAMENT 2024
This is your invitation to attend the Annual Wingham Regional Silver Stick Tournament.
It is proudly sponsored by the Wingham Minor Hockey Association.
Silver Stick works under a Regional concept. Wingham has the privilege of hosting a Regional Tournament for “B” and “C’ teams within the South Western Region. This designation has now been changed to Tier 1 instead of the old designation of "B" and Tier 2 for “C”.
The dates for the U18 Divisions will be Sunday, Nov. 10th, concluding Sunday, Nov. 17th, 2024.
The dates for the U11 Divisions will be on Sunday, Nov. 24th, concluding, Sunday, Dec. 1st, 2024.
All games will be played at the North Huron Community Complex, 99 Kerr Drive, Wingham.
There will be 8 teams accepted into the U18 Tier 1 Division, and 12 teams accepted into the U18 Tier 2 Division. There will be 8 teams accepted into the U11 Tier 1 Division, and 12 teams accepted into the U11 Tier 2 Divisions.
Each team is guaranteed three games, which will be in Round Robin Format.
There will then be two (2) semi-finals, with the winners advancing to finals.
Winners will receive a Regional Silver Stick Championship Banner and Champion Pins.
The runners-up will receive a Finalists Banner.
Champions will advance to the International Finals in Forest, Ontario.
U15 & U18 – Jan. 10th – 12th, 2025
U11 & U13 – Jan. 24th – 26th, 2025
The entry fee will be $1025.00 per team.
There is no admission fee for spectators at anytime throughout the Tournament.
Refund policy: If you withdraw from the Tournament after being accepted, there will be an administration fee of $75.00 deducted from your entry fee up until November 1st. Any time after November 1st no refund will be given.
To enter our Tournament please go to the Silver Stick website at www.silverstick.org then click on Canadian Regionals, then on South Western Region. Then choose the Wingham Regional tab, once there select the Register tab at the top of the page and follow the prompts.
