43rd ANNUAL MOORETOWN JUVENILE INTERNATIONAL SILVERSTICK FINALS TOURNAMENT JANUARY 7th – 10th, 2016
This is your application to the 43rd ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL SILVER STICK, JUVENILE FINALS TOURNAMENT held at the Moore Sports Complex in Mooretown Ontario.
Games will start @ Approximately 1PM on Thursday January 7, 2016.
There will be four classifications; Juvenile AAA, A, B, and C
Entries will be invitational as well as the “B” and “C” Division Winners and Finalists from their Regional in Lucknow, Ontario
Invited teams will be notified on or before December 1st, 2015.
Teams will be invited to participate based on (but not restricted to):
- Number of applications in the Division
- Past performance in our tournament
- League records and convenor input
- OMHA Area Representative input
ALL DECISIONS BY THE COMMITTEE ARE FINAL.
Each team is guaranteed three games.
Finalists will receive a trophy and a finalists banner. Champions receive a trophy, Silver Stick Pins (Maximum of 25), A Championship banner and the opportunity to carry the valued SILVER STICK around the ice, which will be engraved with the name of the winning teams.
Registration Fee: $875.00 (Canadian Funds)
ROSTERS: All leagues use the electronic registration process. Please ensure that all your documentation is APPROVED by your Registrar (OMHA, GTHL etc.) and available for review before your first game. This includes any AP Lists you may want to use during the tournament.
No Approval….No Play……No Exceptions. This is your responsibility.
RUNNERS: As part of the tradition of Juvenile Silver Stick in Mooretown, each team will be assigned 1 or 2 runners. These are 10-12 year old Minor Hockey Players from our system whose job is to look after the needs of your team players.
These kids get a great thrill helping “the big guys”. Your runners will be assigned to you upon arrival for your first game.
TEAMS: All coaches/managers are to report to the Tournament Office upon arrival at the arena.
