The 35th Annual Pelham Regional Silver Stick Tournament will be held December 27, 28 and 29, 2019.
Games will be played in the brand new Meridian Community Centre in Fonthill, Ontario....as well as the Vale Centre in Port Colborne Ontario, and one other local facility.

Our Tournament Registration form should be available this week. That form must be submitted for us to have our information correctly documented.
The Tournament Sanction number is in process through the OMHA now and will be provided when available.
ENTRY FEES for the 2019 Pelham Regional Silver Stick are as follows:
Atom - $1150
Peewee - $1225
Bantam - $1300
Midget - $1300
Novice - to be determined and announced in late June
IMPORTANT TO NOTE -
our tournament is a four game minimum. (not three games) You will have 3 round robin games, be reseeded, then at least one game in the elimination format (ie: quarterfinal). This is how we have run our tournament the past four seasons with great feedback for employing this type of format.
ACCOMODATIONS: Teams coming to our tournament may require over night stays. Hotel planning must be made through the hotels that the tournament has sourced out locally which ensures your team the best arrangement. This announcement on which hotels will be utilized will be posted soon. If your team is not utilizing the official hotel list to book your stays, your entry will be voided.

Indicate in the email: your team's name & age group, your name as the contact, your position on the team, and your home association.
The age groups are: Atom (major), Peewee (major), Bantam (major) and Midget (major). Currently the Novice division is TBD - please watch for an announcement on that in late June.
This is classified as an "A" tournament under the OMHA. Typically we are about half "A" centres and half "BB" centres each year entering. Last year our five champions were 3 "A" centres and 2 were "BB" centres. It is guaranteed to be good hockey !!!
Silver Stick Tournament - IMPORTANT NOTES:
1) Please review the Silver Stick website to see if Pelham / Niagara is your designated Silver Stick Regional tournament. We are mandated by Silver Stick International to accept teams designated to our region before out of region teams up to a certain date. We will process entries from OMHA centres designated to the Niagara Region prior to considering entries from outside.
If your team is not designated to the Niagara Region by Silver Stick definitions, we will direct you to contact your "local" tournament to enter there or be granted a release from our tournament. Priority entry will be granted to teams that are designated as Niagara Region before out of region teams (until August 31). Out-of-region teams wishing to attend must receive a release from their designated tournament prior to us receiving an entry application. This is a Silver Stick regulation which we follow. Please visit our link on our website called the Ontario Tournament Finder to see which region you should be contacting.
2) A team is not considered entered in the tournament until payment is received, and you receive a confirmation email back from the tournament confirming entry. We do review team classifications as well prior to acceptance.
3) If your team is designated to the Niagara Region, you must contact us for a release prior to being accepted in to a different Silver Stick tournament. Please do not contact other Silver Sticks until this release has been received from us. These requests will be reviewed individually. Please email us for more information.
4) teams from the Alliance of course are permitted to submit an application for registration. HOWEVER, the categorization of Alliance teams will be reviewed by the Silver Stick committee prior to official tournament acceptance to ensure your team is attending the proper tournament. This is an "A" tournament and some may be redirected to attend a "AA" tournament instead. We want to keep this tournament in it's proper "A" designation.
Thank you again for your interest in our tournament.....and registering early will give you the best opportunity to get an entry into this tournament. Teams that have paid in full are considered "entered" as we do not hold spots awaiting payment.
Pelham Silver Stick retains the right to not accept any entry.
