Good afternoon participants in Niagara Silver Stick;
The building is closed and our tournament has had to shut down.
Obviously we realize that some outstanding "on ice" business was still needing to occur but we have been put on ice by this storm.

The questions that require answers....what happens now? What is next? What is the plan?
At this point, the tournament convenors will have a meeting this evening to brainstorm possible scenarios and situations to answer these questions. We too were forced to leave the building, not even grab our stuff, and head home.
For our remaining 10 teams whose tournament has not ended - we will get those answers and continue dialogue with you. We ask for some time to have the chance to sort through things. We understand travel distances, and league commitments, and people's personal plans....so there are many factors at play in trying to potentially play these games & finish the tournament that started Friday morning.

We sincerely thank everyone for what has been a wonderful event (so far) - we could not have foreseen us having to have this premature conclusion to today's events.
