Good morning Silver Stick teams.
We are getting underway with our Semi Final games in a few hours.
Here are some IMPORTANT pieces of information to remember today:
continued.....
1) Fine Designs will be present at the Meridian Community Centre today again for you to purchase Silver Stick Regional apparel
2)
PLEASE - after Championship games -
no parents can come on to the ice surface. We fully appreciate and understand the importance and joy of getting individual and team photos after such an important moment....we really do....our event organizers are also hockey parents! However, we cannot have patrons walking on the ice surface. Our best suggestion is that parents can come to their team's bench - which are very large and are properly situated for presentations/photos, and we will have teams align for great photo opportunities that come from the bench section.
3)
Game Lengths - things change a little today for our games as explained to teams in the Tournament Rules package.

Novice & Atom divisions - All games are 10-10-15 minute periods, stop time. (3 min increase from earlier games)

Bantam & Midget – All games will be 10-15-15 minute periods, stop time, with a flood after the second period. (same game length as previous games)
CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS:

PLEASE NOTE:
There will be a second period flood for Bantam and Midget semi final games.
There is a second period flood for ALL AGE GROUPS in the Championship game. Please teams plan accordingly. We do not want to field complaints at the rink that coaches/teams did not know or did not appreciate us springing this on their team. This has been communicated to teams well in advance and is how this tournament has run our Day 3 for a few years now.
Thank you again to all of our participating teams - we have had some great hockey played thus far in the 2018 Pelham Regional and Saturday looks to be a great day for some more quality hockey action! Lets keep things fun and enjoy this momentous day!!!!!
