Newmarket Minor Finals Tournament OMHA PERMIT # 7761:
Newmarket Minor Hockey is pleased to be hosting the annual International Silver Stick Minor Finals Tournament. Newmarket plays host to winning teams from 18 Regional Tournaments across North America. It will be held January 11 – 14, 2018.
There will be 76 teams in this year’s tournament in following Minor Divisions; Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget divisions at both “A” and “AA” levels. Teams will come from Ontario Regional Tournaments in Owen Sound, Northumberland, Vaughan, Sudbury, Whitby, Alliston, Stratford, Woodstock, Chatham and, US tournaments in Denver, St Clair Shores, Midland Michigan, Philadelphia, Columbia MD, San Jose, Dayton Ohio, Las Vegas, and Ellenton FL.
The level of competition will be high and games exciting, with all teams competing to be the “best of the best”. We hope that all players, team staff and parents will enjoy the “atmosphere” of the tournament as well as their visit to Newmarket and surrounding area.
