SILVER STICK COLLINGWOOD WELCOMES NEW DIRECTOR
As Silver Stick Collingwood takes on a new look, it also begins a new era of leadership.
The tournament will be under the guidance of new Tournament Director Scott Hewlitt as long time tournament lead Dale West steps back over the next two seasons. The pair will co-chair the next two tournaments.
During the next two seasons Scott will be assembling a crew to assist in the future operation of the tournament and Dale will help the group learn about Silver Stick and help with pre tournament chores.
Scott comes to the tournament while also serving as a board member for Collingwood Minor Hockey, and brings experience in organizing hockey events. Dale is preparing to leave after guiding the tournament since 2005 and will continue as a board member of Silver Stick International.
Dale and Scott are looking forward to the new challenges as the tournament moves to a Major "A" qualifier for the region and the Houseleague/Local League tournament expands to 32 teams.
Scott and Dale recently kicked off the new era of Silver Stick Collingwood with a visit to the International Silver Stick Annual General Meeting that was held in Port Huron Michigan.
Silver Stick Collingwood is hosting the AGM for 2023 at Blue Mountain Resort.
