As you know, our tournament is a 4 game minimum event. Each team will have 3 games in the preliminary round, the groups will then re-seed based on those results, and then we will play down from there with elimination games.
We are starting early in the morning on Friday November 26 (8:15am puck drop for game one) as we need to fit in two complete rounds of hockey for each age group.
You will notice that 4 games are taking place on Friday at the Vale Centre in Port Colborne so please pay attention to your game location on Friday. All other tournament games will take place at the Meridian Community Centre in Pelham and on one of the two ice surfaces there.
With the later start to the season and the earlier tournament date, we are unable to get a solid read on how teams' records are so far this season for seeding purposes. We have done our best with the limited information that exists. Additionally, we try to divide A and BB teams and also divide teams that play in the same league - and we strive to make it balanced for everyone.
