Tournament Cancellations
****Update from International Silver Stick****
After consultation with numerous Minor Hockey Associations, the Board of Directors of the International Silver Stick, today, July 22nd announces the cancellation of many of our Regional and Finals tournaments for the 2020-21 season. Please see details below. This decision was not easily made and we understand the disappointment this may cause, but please be assured the health and safety of our players, coaches, parents and tournament volunteers was of utmost importance in our decision.
Regional Tournaments:
ALL Canadian Regional Qualifying tournaments for the 2020-2021 season are postponed until 2021-2022. American Regional Qualifying Tournaments may be held as permitted by State and Local regulations however, Champions will not advance to an International Final.
International Finals Tournaments:
ALL Internationals Finals for the 2020-2021 season are postponed until 2021-2022. (Except Port Huron AAA) We look forward to hosting all of our tournaments in 2021-2022, until then stay safe, stay healthy.
Although this is unfortunate news for our Wingham Regional Silver Stick (this year we would be celebrating 35 years of Silver Stick tournaments), we respect the very difficult decision that has been made by the International Silver Stick Board of Directors.
We would like to thank all of our Sponsors, Volunteers, Officials, supporting Associations (teams) and arena staff for the dedication that has been provided to us in the past and we look forward to continuing in the future.
