Tournament dates for the 16UA division are September 11,12,13, 2020.  All teams must be prepared to play games Friday morning, starting by 11:00 AM. 

Tournament dates for Bantam 14UAA, 14UA and Midget 15UAA divisions  are October 2,3,4, 2020. All teams must be prepared to play games Friday morning, starting by 11:00 AM. 

Tournament dates for the Peewee 12UA & Squirt 10UA divisions are November 27,28,29 ,2020. All teams must be prepared to play games Friday morning, starting by 8:00 AM. 

 

  • USA Hockey sanctioned tournament.
  • USA Hockey rules will govern all tournament play
  • All  teams will play 12 minute 1st & 2nd periods and a 15 minute 3rd period.
  • All games will be played to completion - no curfews.
  • Tournament is 3 game minimum and 6 game maximum.
  • Each team will play a 3 game preliminary round robin, except 5 team divisions. They will play 4 game preliminary round.
  • Top 8 teams advance to quarter finals in divisions with 12 teams or more.
  • Top 2 teams get a bye to semi Finals and teams 3-6 play in quarter finals in divisions with 10 teams.
  • Top 4 teams advance directly to semi finals in divisions with 8 teams or less (except 5 team division).
  • Top 2 teams advance to Finals in division with 5 teams.

The point system will be as follows:
2 points for a win.
1 point for a tie
0 points for a loss

- Tie breaker will be as follows:
(NOTE: Any forfeits shall count as a 1-0 score for use in tiebreakers)

  • Winner of the Head to Head game played between the two tied teams. This tie breaker does not apply if three teams are tied.
  • Best goal total quotient. Total goals scored divided by total goals against using ALL games played in round robin. The team with the greatest quotient advances.
  • Lowest goals against.
  • Least number of penalties assessed. Each penalty shall count as one team penalty.

Final Playoff seating’s will be based upon total points received in the round robin. Best total goal quotient will be used for all tied teams to determine their seeding.  



Normally Tournament Champions at each level qualify to advance to International Silver Stick Finals in Port Huron, Michigan, or Sarnia, Ontario, or Saint Clair Shores in January. Due to the Pandemic, border crossing issues, and to reduce travel, there will be not International Finals this season.

The West Chester Regional is always an excellent event and we look forward to seeing your team this season.
